Liquor stores weigh options about being open on Sundays

You can buy from a liquor store starting this Sunday. Just because stores can sell this Sunday doesn’t mean they will. Many liquor store owners have been against the bill. Some said they’re staying closed on Sundays. Others said it was a tough call. "Hey Dennis!" said Kevin Kidd from behind a counter, watching as a regular customer walked through his door. "How are you today?" Know the customers. Know the product. Kidd said that’s how his Kidd Wine and Spirits has lasted 10 years in Antioch. His place might be about to see a major change, a move to a seven-day work week. "It is not good for the independent retailers at all," said Kidd.
